Solids Aren't So Bad

Growing Up So Fast
Little Miss Sage is growing up so fast! She is starting to laugh a real, belly laugh, complete with a snort! She rolled over during the night this past week. She hasn't done it again, but she is oh so close! She loves her bumbo, playmat, and saucer. We think she is starting to teeth- she has some of the symptoms. We are thinking about trying solids one of these days. We have what we need, but just haven't tackled it yet! She is obsessed with her feet! If she sees them, she either grabs them and holds both of them or tries to eat them! She also constantly covers her face with her burp rag or blanket, and then lays there still- it's pretty cute!
It seems like she has always been a part of our lives! I don't know what we ever did without her!
1st Christmas
Sage had a great 1st Christmas! We were able to make it to all of our Family Christmases! We spent Christmas Eve in Luverne with Justin's parents and then the Siebenahler extended family. Sage was very spoiled! She got a lot of great toys , clothes, and books. Her and Brenn both got American Girl Dolls from Grandma Terri!
Christmas Day morning we went to the DeBates family Christmas. They have to rent the Legion Hall because there are too many people for a house! There are 16 grandchildren/great grandchildren under the age of 10! Sooo many kids! We used to joke that it was our birth control to attend any DeBated family gathering! After lunch, we headed to NoDak and spent the rest of the day at my parents house. Sage was spoiled again! She got an exersaucer from her Uncle Nick, plus more clothes, books, and toys.
Sunday we went to Mass in Cayuga and then to Cliff and Janny's for lunch. My cousin Andy was home from Texas with his son Drew so we had a "meet the cousins" gathering! Monday we headed to Fargo (lots of driving and Sage handled it great!) to spend the afternoon with the Klubben clan.
Sage had her 4 month check right after Christmas. She weighed in at 14 lbs 12 oz and 26.5 inches long. She is still measuring long and lean!
